Bio

VEDA ARNDT-SCHREIBER (THEY/THEM) is an actor, director, designer, and current senior in the B.F.A. Acting program at the University of California Santa Barbara. Their recent work includes assistant directing and dramaturgy for The Shark Is Broken at Ensemble Theatre Company and Laguna Playhouse, and assistant directing Dance Nation at UCSB. Veda has worked in various capacities on several LAUNCH PAD readings and productions. Veda is currently directing Forest Fuel, a new play in development as an honors project, which will premiere in May 2026. As an actor, Veda has recently appeared in UCSB’s production of POTUS as Bernadette, and Caliban in Naked Shakes’ The Tempest. Veda’s technical credits include costume shop first hand and poster/graphic design. They are also the business manager of the Alpha Iota Mu chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, National Theatre Honors Society.
